Blogrolled is a recently launched, blogroll selling program. Yes, bloggers, you can see your blogroll links - those links in your side side bar.

What’s different about this site is, unlike other advertising programs like adsense etc, where you have to add a code to your website, you have to add the link in manually for this. There are advantages to this because it will work for blogspot or other blogs who can’t use php codes.

I signed up for it just to test it out and just got accepted a few hours ago. It says you can sell up to 10 blogrolls on your blog. My PR 5 blog’s blogroll link is currently priced at US$25 per month each. Which means I can get up to US$250 per month! The price is determined by your PageRank and Alexa rank.

A look at their advertiser program shows that the advertiser has to select from a catalog of blogs to buy links from. The catalog shows the description, Alexa rank, Link Score, language and the monthly price but no URL to the site. Which should say, you should describe your blog in such a way that it will be attractive to the advertiser. Or simple put your site’s URL into the description if that’s possible.

Well, too bad, currently it says “There are not Opportunities in the marketplace. Please try again later.” So, I can’t add any links yet. I will be patient and see if any advertiser decides to buy a link.

There is no affiliate program either.

If you are wondering about PageRank and Alexa rank, I will be covering it in another post.
